Connect Atlassian (Jira / Confluence) to Gemini Enterprise

Search, read and write Atlassian (Jira / Confluence) from Gemini Enterprise. Arlet links the two through one MCP connection and takes care of keys and authentication.

Arlet makes Atlassian's official MCP server (Rovo MCP) available from the AI client you already use. There is no app to create on the Atlassian side. Signing in completes the connection.

The AI can search, create, update and transition Jira issues, and search, read, create and update Confluence pages. The available tools are those provided by Atlassian's official server, and what can be read or written is exactly what your Atlassian account can. If your organization admin restricts connecting domains, ask them to allow Arlet's domain.

How to connect Atlassian (Jira / Confluence) to Gemini Enterprise

  1. 1

In the Arlet dashboard, open Integrations β†’ Add an integration and choose Atlassian (Jira / Confluence). Sign in with Link Atlassian (Jira / Confluence), name the connection and click Create.

  2. 2

Sign in to Gemini Enterprise with your organization Google account and open the gear icon at the bottom left β†’ Connectors β†’ Add MCP Server.

  3. 3

In the MCP info tab, enter https://mcp.arlet.dev/mcp/ as the Server URL and "Arlet" as the Name. In the Auth tab, enter the OAuth settings from the Arlet docs (Authorization URL / Token URL / Client ID / Client Secret / Scopes) and click Add.

  4. 4

In the connector list on the chat screen, click Connect on Arlet, sign in with Google and authorize. Arlet can then be enabled with the toggle.

Adding custom connectors (MCP) requires a Gemini Enterprise subscription and is not available in the consumer Gemini app. See the docs for the values to enter in the Auth tab.
