Connect GCIS (Taiwan Company Registration) to Copilot Studio
Query GCIS (Taiwan Company Registration) directly from Copilot Studio. Arlet links the two through one MCP connection and takes care of API keys.
This server connects your AI client to Taiwan's company registration open data, published by the Ministry of Economic Affairs (GCIS). It is the authoritative record of whether a Taiwanese company exists, who is responsible for it, and whether it is still in good standing - the Taiwan piece of a cross-border counterparty due-diligence workflow.
Key features:
- search_companies: search by Chinese company-name keyword. Active companies (ζ Έεθ¨η«) only by default, with an option to include dissolved or withdrawn ones.
- get_company: the registration record for one 8-digit unified business number (η΅±δΈη·¨θ): official name, status, responsible person, authorized and paid-in capital, registered address, registration authority, establishment date and last change date.
Dates arrive in the ROC (Minguo) calendar and are converted to the Gregorian calendar automatically. The unified business number is the same identifier the TWSE server returns for listed companies, so the two join cleanly: find a listed company there, verify its registration here.
No API key is needed. Note that company names in the registry are official Chinese names - search in Chinese for best results.
How to connect GCIS (Taiwan Company Registration) to Copilot Studio

In the Arlet dashboard, open Data tools, find GCIS (Taiwan Company Registration) and switch it on. No API key setup is needed.

Sign in to Copilot Studio with your work account, create a new agent (or open an existing one), and in the Build tab choose Tools β + β Add β Model Context Protocol (MCP) in the right panel.

In the Add MCP server form, enter "Arlet" as the Server name, https://mcp.arlet.dev/mcp/ as the Server URL, choose OAuth 2.0 for Authentication and "Dynamic (detected)" for Configuration type, then click Add. No Client ID / Secret is needed.

On the Select a connection screen, choose Create new connection β Create, then sign in with Google on the Arlet authorization screen and click Allow. Click Add to attach the tool to the agent, then Publish to use it from Microsoft 365 Copilot.
Requires a Microsoft work account and a Copilot Studio license (or trial). MCP is available only for agents using generative orchestration and not in Copilot Studio in Teams.
