Connect ILOSTAT (ILO Labour Statistics) to Claude

Query ILOSTAT (ILO Labour Statistics) directly from Claude. Arlet links the two through one MCP connection and takes care of API keys.

Connects your AI client to the ILOSTAT SDMX 2.1 REST API (sdmx.ilo.org), the machine interface of ILOSTAT, the ILO's central labour-statistics database used for cross-country comparison of labour markets.

Tools (read-only):

  • search_ilostat_dataflows: keyword search over ~1,200 dataflows (indicator tables). The list is cached in-process; the first call can take ~10 seconds.
  • get_ilostat_dataflow_structure: the key dimensions of one dataflow in order (e.g. REF_AREA.FREQ.MEASURE.SEX.AGE) and the codes each accepts.
  • get_ilostat_data: observations as flat rows. Filter by ISO3 area code(s) and {dimension: code} filters, or a full dimension key; restrict by start/end period or the latest N observations. Up to 200 rows per call.

Every response carries the source (ILOSTAT, International Labour Organization) and the licence (CC BY 4.0: credit the ILO and indicate changes).
