Connect KKJ Public Procurement Portal to Codex

Query KKJ Public Procurement Portal directly from Codex. Arlet links the two through one MCP connection and takes care of API keys.

This server connects your AI client to the search API of the Kankoju Portal (kkj.go.jp), operated by the Japanese SME Agency. The portal aggregates public procurement notices - bids, tenders, requests for quotations, and contract award information - published by ministries, agencies, prefectures, and municipalities across Japan.

Key features:

  • Search procurement notices by keyword (e.g. a product, service, or project name).
  • Narrow results by prefecture / municipality code and by announcement date range.
  • Get each notice's project name, issuing organization, category (goods / construction / services), announcement date, and a link to the original document.

This is a direct revenue opportunity finder for businesses - especially SMEs - looking to win government contracts. The API is public and free, so no API key or registration is required.
