Use OECD Data from your AI

Search ~1,500 OECD statistical dataflows (economy, health, education, environment, regions) and fetch observations via the SDMX API. Works in three steps: find a dataflow, inspect its dimensions, then query with a dimension key. No API key required.

Connects your AI client to the OECD SDMX API (sdmx.oecd.org), the backend of OECD Data Explorer.

Tools:

  • search_oecd_dataflows: keyword search over OECD-provided dataflows (the full list is cached; the first call can take ~10 seconds).
  • get_oecd_dataflow_dimensions: dimension order and codes for one dataflow; shows the exact key template for the data query.
  • get_oecd_data: observations for a dimension key (empty segment = wildcard, or 'all'), with lastNObservations control.

Implementation note: the OECD service returns HTTP 500 unless an Accept-Language header is sent; this server handles that. Attribution: data are from OECD Data Explorer (https://data-explorer.oecd.org).

What you need

  • An Arlet account
