Connect OpenDART to Claude Code
Query OpenDART directly from Claude Code. Arlet links the two through one MCP connection and takes care of API keys.
This server connects your AI client to OpenDART, the Financial Supervisory Service's official API over DART - Korea's electronic disclosure system where listed companies file their reports. For anyone tracking Korean competitors (semiconductors, batteries, autos, chemicals), this is the primary source.
Key features:
- resolve_company: turn a company name (Korean or English) or 6-digit stock code into the 8-digit corp_code that the other tools take. The corp-code master is a 100k-company archive, cached server-side so lookups stay fast.
- list_disclosures: filings by company, date range and type - periodic reports (annual 사업보고서, quarterly 분기보고서), major issues reports, ownership disclosures - each with a direct DART viewer link.
- get_company: profile with official names, market (KOSPI/KOSDAQ/KONEX), CEO, registration numbers, industry and fiscal year end.
- get_financials: key accounts (revenue, operating profit, net income, total assets/liabilities/equity) from a chosen year and period, consolidated by default, with two prior periods for comparison.
Report names and account names come back in Korean; the tool notes explain the common ones (매출액 = revenue, 영업이익 = operating profit).
Using the API requires a free 40-character key issued at opendart.fss.or.kr (English portal: engopendart.fss.or.kr) - email verification only, roughly 20,000 requests/day. Set it as DART_API_KEY in your Arlet environment variables.
How to connect OpenDART to Claude Code

In the Arlet dashboard, open Data tools, find OpenDART, set the API key issued by OpenDART and switch it on.

In your terminal, run claude mcp add --transport http arlet https://mcp.arlet.dev/mcp/ to add Arlet as an MCP server.

Start Claude Code, run /mcp, select arlet and click Authenticate.

Your browser opens. Sign in with Google and click Allow on the consent screen. The connection is complete.
The connection is per user and works across every project on the same machine.
