Connect Perplexity to Claude Code

Search, read and write Perplexity from Claude Code. Arlet links the two through one MCP connection and takes care of keys and authentication.

Use Perplexity's official MCP server from the AI services you already use, through Arlet. Sign in with your Perplexity API account and the connection is ready.

Your AI can run live web searches, get quick answers, produce detailed research reports and reason with evidence. Usage is billed to the connected Perplexity API account.

How to connect Perplexity to Claude Code

    In the Arlet dashboard, open Integrations → Add an integration and choose Perplexity. Sign in with Link Perplexity, name the connection and click Create.

    In your terminal, run claude mcp add --transport http arlet https://mcp.arlet.dev/mcp/ to add Arlet as an MCP server.

    Start Claude Code, run /mcp, select arlet and click Authenticate.

  4. 4

    Your browser opens. Sign in with Google and click Allow on the consent screen. The connection is complete.

The connection is per user and works across every project on the same machine.

    Get the essentials on a company or market, with sources, in the minutes before a kickoff.

  • Delegate deep research

    Generate a multi-source report on a theme such as how a technology has spread across countries.

  • Test a hypothesis

    Reason through whether a hypothesis holds given the facts collected and surface missing assumptions.
