Use PLATEAU 3D City Models from your AI
Explore Japan's official 3D city model data (Project PLATEAU, MLIT) through the government-operated MCP server. Search the dataset catalog covering 200+ cities, look up CityGML files and their building attributes, and get streaming URLs for 3D Tiles. Public service - no API key required.
This entry connects your AI client to the official PLATEAU MCP server operated by Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT). Project PLATEAU publishes open 3D city models - buildings, roads, urban planning zones, flood risk areas and more - for cities across Japan.
Through the gateway you can search the PLATEAU dataset catalog by city or data type, retrieve CityGML file listings and building attributes for a given area, and obtain 3D Tiles / MVT streaming URLs that can be loaded into map viewers.
Note: the PLATEAU distribution service is operated on a trial basis. Schemas and responses may change without notice, and no service level is guaranteed. Data follows the Japanese government's standard terms of use (commercial use allowed with attribution).
