Connect Smartsheet to Gemini Enterprise

Search, read and write Smartsheet from Gemini Enterprise. Arlet links the two through one MCP connection and takes care of keys and authentication.

Use Smartsheet's official MCP server from the AI services you already use, through Arlet. Set a Smartsheet API access token and the connection is ready.

From searching workspaces and reading sheets to adding and updating rows, reading reports, replying to discussions and reviewing automated workflows, your AI can do it all. What it can read and write matches the Smartsheet permissions of the user who issued the token. Business, Enterprise and Advanced Work Management plans are covered, and the connection targets accounts in the US region (mcp.smartsheet.com).

How to connect Smartsheet to Gemini Enterprise

  1. 1

In the Arlet dashboard, open Integrations β†’ Add an integration and choose Smartsheet. Set your Smartsheet API key, name the connection and click Create.

  2. 2

Sign in to Gemini Enterprise with your organization Google account and open the gear icon at the bottom left β†’ Connectors β†’ Add MCP Server.

  3. 3

In the MCP info tab, enter https://mcp.arlet.dev/mcp/ as the Server URL and "Arlet" as the Name. In the Auth tab, enter the OAuth settings from the Arlet docs (Authorization URL / Token URL / Client ID / Client Secret / Scopes) and click Add.

  4. 4

In the connector list on the chat screen, click Connect on Arlet, sign in with Google and authorize. Arlet can then be enabled with the toggle.

Adding custom connectors (MCP) requires a Gemini Enterprise subscription and is not available in the consumer Gemini app. See the docs for the values to enter in the Auth tab.
