Connect Tavily to ChatGPT

Search, read and write Tavily from ChatGPT. Arlet links the two through one MCP connection and takes care of keys and authentication.

Use Tavily's official MCP server from the AI services you already use, through Arlet. Sign in with your Tavily account and the connection is ready.

Your AI can run agent-optimized web searches, extract page content, map site structures and crawl. Usage counts against the connected Tavily account's credits. To choose which API key the OAuth login uses, name a key mcp_auth_default in the Tavily dashboard.

How to connect Tavily to ChatGPT

    In the Arlet dashboard, open Integrations → Add an integration and choose Tavily. Sign in with Link Tavily, name the connection and click Create.

    In ChatGPT, open Settings → Plugins → Browse plugins and click + at the top right.

    In the New Plugin form, enter "Arlet" as the Name, choose Server URL for Connection and enter https://mcp.arlet.dev/mcp/, pick OAuth for Authentication, check the risk acknowledgement and click Create.

    Open the Arlet plugin you created, click Sign in with Arlet, sign in with Google and click Allow. The connection is complete.

If the Plugins screen is not shown, turn on Developer mode under Settings → Security and login.

    Search government and corporate sites, extract the relevant pages and keep them in a quotable form.

    Map a competitor's website to find product, pricing and case-study pages, extract them and build a comparison table.

  • Digest regulatory documents

    Extract long guideline or report pages and organize the key points with their locations.

  • Monitor news on a theme

    Search recent news narrowed by topic and domain and turn it into a weekly digest.
