Connect Todoist to Claude

Search, read and write Todoist from Claude. Arlet links the two through one MCP connection and takes care of keys and authentication.

Arlet makes Todoist's official MCP server available from the AI client you already use. Signing in completes the connection.

The AI can search, add, complete and reschedule tasks, manage projects and sections, add comments and reminders, and read productivity stats. The available tools are those provided by Todoist's official server, which is available on the Beginner, Pro and Business plans.

How to connect Todoist to Claude

    In the Arlet dashboard, open Integrations → Add an integration and choose Todoist. Sign in with Link Todoist, name the connection and click Create.

    In Claude, open Organization settings → Connectors from the account menu at the bottom left, then click + Add.

    Choose Custom → Web, enter "Arlet" as the Name and https://mcp.arlet.dev/mcp/ as the Remote MCP server URL, then click Add. Authentication settings are auto-detected, so keep the defaults.

    The first time you use it, sign in with Google. After that, every service you switched on in Arlet is available from Claude.

Adding a connector is done by an organization admin on Team / Enterprise plans. On Pro / Max you can add it for yourself from Settings → Connectors with the same steps.

    List today's and overdue tasks, reorder by priority and propose a realistic plan.

  • Turn notes into tasks

    Extract to-dos from meeting notes or email and add them with a project and due date.

  • Weekly review

    Tally what was completed this week and reschedule what was not.

  • Find stalled work

    Find tasks that have not moved in weeks and draft a check-in message.

Prompts you can use as-is

  • Sort today's and overdue tasks by priority and pick the three to finish today
  • Extract the to-dos from these meeting notes and add them to the Hiring project with due dates
  • Tally the tasks completed this week and reschedule the rest to next Monday
